OUT & ABOUT

For those who want to get out and about to enjoy the breath-taking scenery, Richard has a close relationship with local disabled action groups, including the Wet Wheels Yorkshire charity which offers adventure boat rides to people with disabilities, and the Whitby Disability Action Group that can provide beach-compatible wheelchairs for hire. Dalby Forest, near Pickering, has wheelchair-accessible tracks; local swimming pools offer disabled access, and Richard can help organise trips to venues such as Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre and Spa. The farm sits only a five-minute drive from some superb local pubs, seafood restaurants and, of course, award-winning fish and chips. Further advice is provided in each cottage, and Richard is always on-hand to offer extra help and information.
